“United Russia” party launches school supply action in LPR

The action “Get Your Child Ready for School” organized by the “United Russia” political party has started in the Lugansk People’s Republic, said secretary of the party’s Lugansk branch, LPR parliament speaker Denis Miroshnichenko.

 

“Our colleagues help children from needy families prepare for the new school year,” Miroshnichenko said. “The Lugansk branch is joining the action: beginning from July 13, we’ll gather school supplies for the children who are staying at temporary accommodation centers together with their parents.”

 

The school supply drive will also support children living in liberated areas of the Republic, he said.

 

 Donations are gathered by the party’s local branches. Activists will provide textbooks, fiction books and sport equipment to educational institutions in the new Russian regions and help cleanup and improve schoolyards.
