New Russian regions to get satellite TV in December

Residents of the Donbass Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Crimea and Sevastopol will be able to watch satellite TV in December thanks to the Russian World television broadcasting project, the LPR government press service reported.
 
“The Russian World TV broadcasting project starts in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Republic of Crimea and town of Sevastopol in December 2022 to provide access to Russian television to dozens of thousands of citizens,” the press service said.
 
The All-Russia People’s Front supported project development. The “Russian World” will broadcast national and local channels for different topics.
The project offers the first 20 state channels, as well as regional and entertainment channels in the Russian language.
 
Satellite TV equipment and its installation will be provided for free. To get a satellite TV kit, residents have to place a request with local authorities.
 
“The implementation of the Russian World project will provide full access to Russian news and entertainment content in quality broadcasting and facilitate the modernization of the information infrastructure of the regions,” the LPR government said.*i*ie
