The Lugansk People’s Republic is open to cooperation with business people of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said in an interview with Russia’s TASS news agency.

“We’ve always been open to cooperation and interaction,” Pasechnik said. "Thousands of people in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions support the Russian World being close to us spiritually. If the local authorities are willing and ready to work us, we’ll be happy to interact with them.”

Finishing the fighting in the territory of the Republic and its full liberation remains the key objective for the LPP, he added.

Earlier, the United Economic Council allowed LPR businesses to carry out duty-free export/import operations with business people of the Kharkov, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. It also allowed business people from these regions to import goods from Russia via the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The LPR government adopted a resolution to regulate the trade turnover between the Republic’s economic entities and three Ukrainian regions. *i*t
