The Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission under the Lugansk People’s Republic government has suspended the operation of catering outlets starting October 13 until further notice, as the COVID-19 situation is worsening, the government press service reported.

“The operation of catering outlets of all types of ownership, except takeout and delivery services, has been suspended,” the Commission said.

This restriction does not apply to dining halls, refreshment rooms, cafes or eateries that service personnel at companies or organizations, the press service said.

The number of coronavirus contacts across the world has exceeded 237.3 million by now; of those, over 4.8 million people died, according to the World Health Organisation. The LPR confirmed 14,989 covid-19 cases. *i*s
