Ukrainian army's saboteurs captured a representative of the LPR Mission to the JCCC Andrey Kosyak in the Zolotoye security zone on October 13. The LPR demanded that Kiev immediately release Kosyak. LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said that further dialogue with Kiev within the Minsk format made no sense until the LPR officer is liberated.

LPR People's Militia calls on the UN and ICRC to protect the rights of the captured officer Andrey Kosyak, the Defense's official representative Ivan Filiponenko said.

"We are asking the UN and ICRC leadership to carry out all necessary procedures for access and protection of rights in relation of Andrey Kosyak, as anything can happen to him in SBU captivity," he said.

According to Filiponenko, the kidnapped officer is being subjected to phycological and physical influence.

He also criticised the OSCE SMM mission for not including the incident in its reports and not assessing Kiev's actions as illegal. *t
