The condition of the wounded refugees from Artyomovsk who were hospitalized in the Lugansk People’s Republic is evaluated as medium severity, deputy chief doctor of the Stakhanov general hospital (TsGMB) Lyudmila Moiseyeva told the Lugansk Media Center.
Four refugees from Artyomovsk (Donetsk People’s Republic) suffered mine blast traumas on April 22. They were admitted to the Pervomaisk hospital on Monday. Later on, a man, a woman and an 11-year-old child were rushed to the hospital in the town of Stakhanov. Another woman is taking treatment in the Pervomaisk hospital. The wounded evacuees received first aid from Russian servicemen.
“All the three patients (brought to Stakhanov) are in the hospital’s Trauma Department; initial surgical debridement has been performed for the wounds,” Moiseyeva said.” Surgery might be required later on.”
The woman has a shrapnel-caused fracture; surgery is not immediately needed; anyway, her shoulder wound must heal first, but she also has a femoral condyle fracture, she said.
