Ukrainian forces shell LPR once over 24 hours, kill two civilians – JCCC

Military&Defence
Kiev forces shelled the Lugansk People’s Republic once on November 21 killing two civilians and wounding one, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) reported.

“Ukrainian armed formations used an American M142 high mobility artillery rocket system to shell the Alchevsk settlement expending two missiles,” the report said.

Two civilians were killed and one was wounded in the strike, and two homes were ruined and another five were damaged, the JCCC said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
