Kiev forces have been firing at Kirovsk practically non-stop destroying its infrastructure and houses, town administration head Viktoria Sergeyeva told Russia24 Channel.
“Ukrainian armed formation fire at town and neighbouring settlements practically round the clock,” Sergeyeva said. “Ukrainian projectiles mostly hit the town infrastructure, neighborhoods, apartment houses and single family houses. They are destroying the infrastructure including kindergartens, schools, hospitals and life support facilities.”
Local residents are unable to go out to buy food at stores as the shelling continues unabated, she added.
Earlier, head of the Donetsky township life support sector Olga Kobzar said that Ukrainian forces were trying to raze the settlement to the ground.
On February 28, Kiev forces fired at Donetsky five times using 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars and MLRS “Grad.”
The Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported that ten houses had been destroyed in a Ukrainian army strike at Donetsky.
Earlier, the LPR Office at the JCCC reported that Kiev forces had fired at the LPR six times over the past 24 hours.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The members of the Contact Group have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*t
