Ukrainian attack on an LPR outpost was authorized by the country's top military and political leadership, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said speaking at the memorial service for the five LPR People's Militia service members killed on Friday.

"All the guys were killed by hand of Ukrainian terrorists, who committed a truly flagrant bloody attack. The nature and form of the crime tell us the murderers were professional killers, very professional, and it testifies to the fact that the action was well-planned and prepared," he said.

"I am sure it was authorized by Ukraine's top military and political authorities."

Pasechnik pledged to do everything possible to find the murderers and prosecute them under martial law.

Five LPR People's Militia service members were killed in a Ukrainian squad attack on a Republican outpost outside Golubovskoye on June 11.

People's Militia report said that "a sabotage squad of the West (Zapad) special operations center (former 8th regiment of special operations) cold-bloodedly shot and killed five LPR defenders outside Golubovskoye".

The victims "were shot in their heads with special arms", one of them was killed with a foreign sniper rifle, others murdered from a point-blank range by a sabotage squad that infiltrated the Republic.

Four children are left without fathers following the attack. *t
