A Kiev artillery strike at Pervomaisk has ruined a petrol station and damaged two apartment houses and underground power, communication and Internet lines, town administration head Sergey Kolyagin wrote on Telegram.

The enemy shelled Pervomaisk at 17:40 expending three US-made HIMARS rocket system missiles.

“Ukrainian armed formations fired American MLRS at Pervomaisk again,” Kalyagin said. “Two apartment buildings, amenities, and underground power, communication and Internet lines were damaged and a petrol station was destroyed in the strike, according to preliminary reports. A casualty update might follow.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
