Ukrainian forces have lost up to 130 servicemen on the Krasny Liman axis over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“On the Krasny Liman axis, “Center” task force warplanes, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems inflicted damage on Ukrainian army units in the areas of Chervonaya Dibrova and Nevskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic and Yampolovka, Torskoye and Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the report said. “Enemy losses on this axis over the past 24 hours amounted up to 130 servicemen, one “Grad” multiple rocket launcher and one “Akatsiya” self-propelled howitzer.”
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression on February 24, 2022. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance.
