A civilian and 20 servicemen have been killed in the Lugansk People’s Republic as a result of the Ukrainian army’s aggression since the beginning of this year, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“One civilian has been killed, and 13 others have been wounded as a result of Ukrainian armed formations’ aggression since the beginning of this year,” the report said.

“Over the designated period, 20 servicemen have been killed and eight have been wounded.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belorussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document provides for ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line. *t
