Two people killed, four wounded as Ukraine shells Krinichnoye - JCCC

Military&Defence
Two people have been killed and another four have been wounded in a  Kiev army artillery attack at the Krinichnoye settlement in the Lugansk People’s Republic, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) reported.

“Ukrainian forces used an American high-mobility artillery rocket system to deliver fire at Krinichnoye, a satellite settlement of Kirovsk,” the JCCC said. “The enemy fired two M31 GMLRS missiles which killed two employees of the Krinichanskaya colliery and wounded another four people, and damaged colliery facilities.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022, based on the results of the unification referendum. *i*ie
