Military&Defence

Two people have been killed and another two have been wounded in Kiev forces strike at Stakhanov with a U.S.-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“(Ukrainian armed formations) shelled the town of Stakhanov using an American M142 HIMARS system (the enemy fired six missiles overall), according to updated reports,” the JCCC said. “Two civilians were killed and another two were wounded.”

The LPR Office at the JCCC recorded damage to windows of 11 apartment houses, a kindergarten and a school.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
