Two engineers killed, one injured in anti-tank mine blast in Novoaidar district
SocietyTwo electricians have been killed, another critically injured in a mine blast outside Smolyaninovo in the Novoaidar district, the Ministry of Emergencies said.
The incident took place on August 9.
"In a forested area along the 220 kV power line, a UAZ vehicle with three staff members of the Lisichansk Power Lines District on board, triggered an anti-tank land mine," the report reads.
Two men, born in 1969 and 1973, were instantly killed, the third one was taken to the Novoaidar hospital with blast injuries, burns of the face, abdomen, upper and lower limbs, dermatological shock.
Later he was transferred to the Lugansk Republican Clinical Hospital. *t
