Two companies to represent LPR at Petersburg Economic Forum

Two enterprises from the Lugansk People’s Republic will present their products at St Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 14 – 17, LPR Economic Development Minister Svetlana Podlipayeva told the Lugansk Media Center.

The LPR, as a Russian constituent entity, will take part in the event for the first time. LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik will lead the Republic’s delegation, Podlipayeva said.

The LPR participants include the Lugansk Refrigerating Plant that produces dairy products and ice-cream, and the Yunis company, a manufacturer of steel radiators. One of their key objectives is to find new destination markets. They also plan to sign several cooperation agreements. Other LPR companies will arrange their presentations using promotional products, the LPR minister said.

“It’s the most prestigious forum in the Russian Federation; getting there is good luck. As a rule, all participants find contactors and partners there, not necessarily in the Russian Federation. International partners might take an interest in our enterprises whose products meet all quality requirements,” Podlipayeva said.

Direct dialogue between participants will enable them to strengthen ties between regions of the country. “Personal communication is no less important contract signing: it’s both business and personal relations,” she said.
