Teenager, woman wounded in Ukrainian artillery attack on Rubezhnoye - JCCC

Military&Defence
A teenager and a woman have been wounded and an apartment house has been damaged in a Ukrainian artillery strike at Rubezhnoye, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) reported.

The strike was delivered at 16:30, the JCCC said. “A 14-year-old boy and a 59-year-old woman were wounded and an apartment house was damaged as two 155mm projectiles were fired at the settlement of Rubezhnoye.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
