Experts of the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) have determined the type of US-made missile fired by Kiev forces at Perevalsk, the JCCC reported.

Kiev forces fired an American HIMARS multiple rocket launcher at Perevalsk at 07:20; no casualties or damage were reported.

“The LPR Office at the JCCC found at the scene of shelling in the town of Perevalsk fragments of a 240mm GMLRS M30 guided missile with a cluster warhead manufactured by the USA’s Lockheed Martin, which had been fired by a M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher,” the report said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The participants in the Donbass peace talks have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
