The Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament has unanimously approved the law on establishing a commemorative date to honor the reunification of the Donbass Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with the Russian Federation.
“September 30 will go down in recent history as the day of accession to the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions as constituent entities,” the FC press service said.
