Six people killed in Kiev artillery strikes at LPR in April - JCCC

Kiev forces shelled the Lugansk People’s Republic 13 times in April killing six people and wounding another 11 including three children, said the LPR Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
 
“In April, the LPR Office at the JCCC recorded 13 strikes at the Republic by Ukrainian armed formations which targeted Lisichansk, Rubezhnoye, Svatovo, Triotskoye, Alchevsk, Rovenki and Bryanka,” the report said. “Seventeen civilians became victims of Kiev regime aggression over this period; of those, six were killed and 11 were wounded including three children.” 
 
On top of that, 22 homes and 11 civil infrastructure facilities including a hospital were damaged in Ukrainian artillery attacks on the LPR in the designated period.
 
The enemy used US-made high mobility artillery rocket systems (27 missiles), 155mm artillery pieces (three shells) and nine Mugin-5 Pro attack drones, the JCCC said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
