Six employees of the Lugacom state unitary enterprise have been killed, four have been wounded and one is missing as a result of Kiev forces’ strike at Popasnaya, the Lugansk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office said.

Kiev forces fired a BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher at Popasnaya  at 17:45 on June 28 expending 16 rocket projectiles.

“Six Lugacom personnel were killed, four were wounded and one employee went missing as they were conducting repair works,” the PGO press service said.

“Criminal proceedings have been initiated over this fact under LPR Criminal Code Article 439 (use of prohibited means and methods of warfare) and Article 440 (genocide).

“The LPR prosecutor general is supervising the investigation,” the press service said.

In the previous 24-hour period, Kiev forces shelled the territory in the LPR responsibility zone twice.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The participants in the Donbass peace talks have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
