Shakhty-Pobeda power main back in operation, power supply restored

Repair works are now complete at the 500 kV "Shakhty-Pobeda" power line, electricity supply is restored all over the Republic, the Ministry of Fuel, Energy and Coal said.

"Engineers finished the repairs timely and successfully, boosting the reliability of power transmission mains."

The Shakhty-Pobeda power line, total length 63 km, is a key part of the power supply system in the LPR. More than 700,000 households and 1,107 critical infrastructure facilities depend on this power line.

"Scheduled maintenance is complete. Power supply is fully resored," the deputy Minsiter of Energy Andrei Kustov said. *t
