Several homes ruined by Kiev artillery strike at Maloryazantsevo - Lisichansk Town Hall

Several houses have taken serious damage in Kiev forces’ attack on the Maloryazantsevo neighborhood outside the town of Lisichansk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Lisichansk administration reported.
 
“Maloryazantsevo has come under Ukrainian fascists’ artillery fire again,” a Town Hall official said. “In the runup to a key Russian holiday, the enemy, in impotent range, is trying to cause maximum damage to the civilian population.”
 
“Luckily, nobody has been hurt, but several houses have been ruined,” he added.
 
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
 
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation  on February 24, 2022 to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance.
