Seven homes damaged, company building destroyed as Stakhanov comes under Ukrainian artillery fire - JCCC

Military&Defence

A strike at Stakhanov by Kiev forces has damaged seven homes and destroyed a private company building, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues relatshellinged to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.

Kiev forces shelled Stakhanov at night on October 11 firing two missiles from an American high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS). The strike damaged six homes, a non-residential building and several vehicles, the town administration said in a preliminary report.

The JCCC said in an update that “the strike at Stakhanov from an M142 HIMRAS (the enemy fired two M31 GMLRS missiles) damaged seven houses, destroyed a private company building and damaged seven cars.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.*i*ie
