Seven civilians killed in Kiev artillery strikes at LPR over week - JCCC

Military&Defence
Seven civilians including a child have been killed in Ukrainian artillery attacks on the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past week, said the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC).

“Seven civilians including a child became victims of Ukrainian armed formations aggression in the designated period (over the past week),” the JCCC said.
In the week before last two people in the LPR were killed and another four were wounded in Ukrainian artillery fire.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
