The Russian sponsor regions which help the Lugansk People’s Republic rebuild its infrastructure are currently repairing 139 education facilities, said LPR Education and Science Minister Ivan Kusov.
“Thirty facilities have already been restored; most of the rebuilding projects will be completed by September 1,” Kusov said at the conference that addressed the education sector’s preparedness for the 2023-2024 school year.
,There are some doubts that construction workers will be able to meet the deadlines for several schools, but this won’t delay the start of the school year; the matter is under special control. About 50 percent of LPR schools are ready for the heating season, the minister said.
