Russian army repels 13 Ukrainian attacks on Krasny Liman axis over week

Russian forces have repelled 13 Kiev gunmen’s attacks on the Krasny Liman axis over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units supported by aircraft and artillery repelled 13 attacks by Ukrainian army assault groups (in the period from December 16 to December 22),” the report said.  “The task force also defeated manpower and equipment of Ukraine’s 24th, 63rd and 116th Mechanized Brigades and 12th Special Operations Brigade in the areas of Chervonaya Dibrova, Petrovskoye and Kuzmino (LPR) and Torskoye (DPR).”

Enemy losses on this axis over the past week amounted up to 1,155 servicemen, one tank, 19 armored fighting vehicles, 21 cars and seven field artillery pieces.

Over the past week, Russian air defense units shot down 259 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the special military operation zone including the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Defense Ministry said.*i*sb
