Russian air defense shoots down 29 Ukrainian UAVs over 24 hours

Russian air defense units have eliminated 29 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the special military operation zone  including the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

“Air defense units downed 29 Ukrainian UAVs in the areas of Svatovo and Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Mayorsk and Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Peremozhnoye in the Zaporozhye region, and Tavriysk and Novaya Kakhovka in the Kerson region, as well as four high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) projectiles,” the report said.

On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units repelled an attack by the Ukrainian army’s 12th Special Operations Brigade in the Chervonaya Dibrova settlement area in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

“Aircraft and artillery defeated manpower and equipment of Ukraine’s 63rd and 67th Mechanized Brigades in the areas of Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Serebryanka Forestry. Enemy losses amounted up to 190 servicemen, three armored fighting vehicles and one D-20 howitzer,” the Defense Ministry said.*i*sb
