Russia delivers food for Severodonetsk area residents

A humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has delivered foodstuffs for residents of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye, the LPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
 
“On December 13, a new EMERCOM convoy delivered relief supplies for Donbass residents to the LPR capital,” the Ministry said. “Five EMERCOM trucks brought foodstuffs (fish and canned meat). They immediately drove to Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye.”
 
On December 12, EMERCOM delivered 65 tons of foodstuffs to Severodonetsk and Rubezhnoye.
 
Russia first sent relief supplies to the LPR on August 22, 2014.
 
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
 
The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
