The 121st humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has delivered construction materials and foodstuffs to Lugansk, the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry press service reported on Tuesday.

“On April 4, a new EMERCOM convoy delivered relief supplies for Donbass residents  to the LPR capital,”  the report said.

Fourteen EMERCOM trucks and an accompanying vehicle have delivered construction materials and food.

“The relief supplies were delivered in full conformity with the requirements and norms of international law; no contingencies occurred in transit,” the LPR Emergencies Ministry said.

The 120th EMERCOM convoy that arrived in Lugansk on April 2 also delivered construction materials and food.

Russia first sent relief supplies to the LPR on August 22, 2014.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The members of the Contact Group have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
