Russia delivers 200 tons of food to LPR

A humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has delivered more than 200 tons of foodstuffs to Lugansk, the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
 
“On April 3, 18 EMERCOM trucks delivered 216 tons of relief supplies for Donbass residents to the LPR capital,” the press service said.
Russia delivered more than 300 tons of foodstuffs to residents of the Severodonetsk district on March 20.
 
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
 
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
