Roof repairs completed on 17 apartment buildings in Pervomaisk

Construction companies from a Russian sponsor region have completed scheduled roof repairs on 17 of 27 apartment buildings in Pervomaisk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, head of the town administration Sergey Kalyagin said.

 

“It is planned to repair or rebuild 29 apartment houses, five social infrastructure facilities and 11 infrastructural assets,” Kalyagin said. “As of now, repairs have been completed on 17 apartment houses and one social infrastructure facility.”

 

Russia’s Kaluga region sponsors the rebuilding projects. Repairs will be carried out on an area of 21,401 square meters.

 

“Pervomaisk residents appreciate the fact that Russia is not leaving us behind and that the sponsor region is providing assistance,” the town administration head sad.

 

Pervomaisk and the Kaluga region signed a cooperation agreement in June 2022.

 

The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
