Putin signs decree on specifics of filling civil service vacancies in new regions

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the specifics of filling vacancies of state and municipal administrations in the Donbass Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
 
The document says that the payments to officials of the government bodies in the above regions, established before September 30, 2022  which continue to perform public functions until the completion of the establishment of government bodies in accordance with Russian laws, shall be made according to the procedure and in the amount fixed by the legal acts of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions coordinated with the Russian government.
 
The heads of the executive bodies of the above regions are tasked with establishing, by June 1, 2023, anti-corruption units or appointing officials responsible for the prevention of such crimes. They also have to set up commissions on compliance with the requirements for the official conduct of federal civil servants.
 
The acting heads of the new regions are recommended to set up bodies for preventing corruption and other crimes and commissions for coordinating the activity of anti-corruption bodies.
