President Vladimir Putin has presented the Order of Pirogov to chief doctor of the Lugansk Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital (LDRKB) Lyudmila Beletskaya.
“I sincerely congratulate our legendary doctor Lyudmila Beletskaya on receiving a high award, the Order of Pirogov of the Russian Federation,” Lugansk People’s Republic Healthcare Minister Natalia Paschenko said addressing her colleague. “Your tremendous experience in healthcare, impeccable professionalism, responsibility and dedication to work are of great benefit to Donbass and all Russia.”
The ceremony for presenting state decorations on the occasion of International Women’s Day took place in the Kremlin’s St Catherine Hall. Twenty Russian women received decorations from the Russian leader in recognition of their honorable performance of duty.
The Order of Pirogov is granted to citizens of Russia for selflessness on delivery of health-care services in case of emergencies, epidemics, hostilities and other circumstances associated with hazard to life.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
