The Lugansk People’s Republic government will provide support to the regional food industry, LPR Agriculture and Food Minister Yevgeny Sorokin told the Lugansk Media Center following his visit to the Lugansk meat-packing plant, a top processing company.
- A meat-packing and a confectionery plant from the LPR earlier took part in the “Golden Autumn 2023” exhibition in Moscow for the first time. “They develop steadily producing a broad range of quality products <...>,” Sorokin said. “The government will always try to help them resolve current issues and implement development plans.”
LPR companies can use preferential loans and benefit from the assistance provided by the Industry Development Fund. Also, the LPR joined the Free Economic Zone which offers tax incentives and possible tax-free participation, he said. Sorokin noted that quality products produced by Lugansk companies were in demand in other Russian regions.*i
