Pasechnik asks Putin to consider LPR accession to Russia

The LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik has addressed Russian leader Vladimir Putin asking to consider LPR joining Russia following the referendum on the matter.

"Taking into account the decision of the republic’s population at the referendum, I am asking you to consider making the Luhansk People’s Republic a subject of the Russian Federation," the document signed by Pasechnik reads.

More than 98 pc of the LPR voters in the Referendum have voted in favour of joining Russia. A total of 1,636,302 individuals voted "yes" in the referendum on the LPR joining Russia. *t
