One civilian killed, two wounded as Kiev forces shell Kremennaya - Pasechnik

Kiev forces have shelled Kremennaya several times on Wednesday killing one civilian and wounding another two, said Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik.
 
“A projectile exploded on the premises of a hospital with medical personnel and patients killing one person and wounding another two. The victims are under medical supervision; they have received the necessary medical assistance,” Pasechnik said.
 
He conveyed his condolences to the family of the victim and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
 
The strike at a health care facility, at the sick and helpless is the height of cynicism and barbarity. It’s another crime of the Nazi regime for which it will be punished with the utmost severity of the law. “We won’t forget nor forgive it,” the LPR leader said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
 
President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation on February 24, 2022 to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance.
