One civilian killed, five wounded as Kiev army fires HIMARS at Svatovo -JCCC
Military&DefenceKiev forces have fired an American high mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS) at Svatovo, killing a civilian and wounding another five, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.
“Ukrainian armed formations shelled the settlement of Svatovo at 15:15 using HIMARS (four missiles),” the report said. “One civilian was killed and another five were wounded.”
The artillery strike destroyed the office building and garage of the local branch of the Luganskgaz state unitary enterprise.
Earlier on Wednesday, Kiev forces shelled the Novoaidar township killing one civilian and wounding another.
On September 20, Kiev forces shelled the territory in the LPR responsibility zone three times.
