One civilian killed, another wounded in Ukrainian strike at Troitskoye - JCCC

One civilian has been killed and another has been wounded in a Ukrainian artillery strike at the Troitskoye township , the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.

 

On Tuesday evening, Kiev forces fired an American high mobility artillery rocket system at Troitskoye.

 

“Yesterday's shelling of the Troitskoye settlement from M142 HIMARS (three missiles) killed a civilian, wounded a 41-year-old woman and destroyed a home,” the JCCC said.

 

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

 

The Lugansk People’s Republic joined Russia on September 30, 2022, when Russian President Vladimir Putin and LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik signed an agreement on the Republic’s accession to Russia.
