Dear fellow countrymen!

This year, National Unity Day is a special benchmark holiday for all residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The liberated Lugansk region celebrates it for the first time in the family circle, as a part of the Russian Federation.
Today, like four centuries ago, the enemy, in the person of Ukrainian nationalists who are incited by the collective West, is trying to disunite us and plunge into turmoil. They’ve declared war on everything Russian: language, history, culture, and their aim is not the Lugansk region or Donbass but the breakup of the Russian World, the disintegration of Russia.
These evil designs will never work out! Like our glorious forefathers, we stood up all together in our Great country to fight the enemy for our own sake, for being what we are, for speaking our native language and venerating our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. There are no doubts whatsoever that our unity and teamwork will lead us to the long-awaited victory, because we are in our land and we are in the right.
Happy holiday, dear fellow countrymen! Wishing you peace, health, goodness and well-being

Interim Head of the LPR
Leonid Pasechnik
