LPR parliament approves social contract payment procedure

Society
The Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Council (parliament) has passed the law on financial assistance provided by the state under social contract.
Lawmaker Ivan Sanayev said that the assistance is provided to low-income families, single persons or other groups of residents with average per capita income below the minimum subsistence level in the LPR. The payment stimulates people to overcome the difficult situation in life, he said.
This type of benefit is funded from the federal and LPR budgets, Sanayev said.

It can be a one-time payment or monthly social allowance for the recipient to encourage them to look for a job, do business as a self-employed person, work on a private land plot or engage in other activities aimed at overcoming the difficult situation, the parliamentarian said. *i
