The Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Council (parliament) has approved a law on the development of small and medium businesses in the region.
“The document sets the guidelines for the state policy on entrepreneurship to promote self-employment, increase the number of small and medium businesses, create a favorable environment for them, improve their competitiveness, and increase the Republic’s GDP and tax revenue,” LPR parliamentarian Sergei Didenko said.
It also spells out the powers of government bodies in supporting business, he said.*i
