The Mobile Communication Systems (MKS) has relaunched the Internet service in the Lugansk People's Republic, the operator said on its Telegram channel.
“The work to relaunch the internet has been finished this week,” the MKS said. “The service is available across the LPR except Lisichansk, Severodonetsk and Rubezhnoye and the Troitskoye, Svatovo and Kremennaya districts.”
Specialists are now launching 4G base stations in the settlements which previously lacked power supply. 3G base stations will be launched in Tanyushevka, Solidarnoye, Nikolskoye, Zorinovka, Demyanovka, Liman, Vishnyovoye, Verkhnyaya Pokrovka and Nizhnepokrovka, the MKS said.

The LPR leader earlier ordered the Digital Development Ministry to test-launch mobile Internet in parts of the Republic starting December 14.  In mid-December, LPR Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Andrey Yershov said that mobile Internet would be available in the LPR within ten days.
