Man wounded as Ukrainian forces fire 155mm artillery piece at Vrubovka

Military&Defence
Kiev forces have fired a 155mm artillery gun at the Vrubovka township in the Popasnaya district; a young man has been wounded, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) reported.

“Ukrainian armed formations fired a projectile from a 155mm artillery piece at the Vrubovka settlement (Popasnaya district) at 13:00,” the JCCC said. “A 25-year-old man was wounded.”

The JCCC is updating the information on casualties and damage.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
