Lugansk transport infrastructure to be upgraded next year
SocietyLugansk Acting Mayor Yana Pashchenko has announced plans to install parking meters, new road signs and CCTV cameras in the city next year.
Electric buses will be added to the public transport fleet and bike lanes will be built from Luganskaya Pravda Street to the Ostraya Mogila war memorial, Pashchenko said.
In 2024, city authorities will try bike rentals on fixed routes that will be set up based on city residents’ recommendations, she said.*i
