Lugansk company products used in rebuilding Donbass infrastructure

Products of the Lugansk-based pipeline accessories plant “Marshal” are used in rebuilding damaged facilities in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, “Marshal” Group Board Chairman Sergey Gorokhov told reporters.

“Marshal” manufactures products for utility companies in Donbass and contractors from other Russian regions,” Gorokhov said.

It supplies ball valves, pipes and gas distribution units. At present, it is delivering products to Mariupol, so “we actively participate in rebuilding the ruined infrastructure,” he said in reply to a Lugansk Media Center question.

In late July, “Marshal” received the certificate of a Free Economic Zone participant.

The Free Economic Zone law adopted in June sets a favorable business climate in the new Russian territories. FEZ companies are exempt from paying property tax for a period of ten years and land tax for three years; they also enjoy other incentives such as lower insurance fee rates. The FEZ will function until January 31, 2050. *i*ie
