LPR teachers’ pay to increase by 20 percent - Education Ministry

The increase in teacher salaries in the Lugansk People’s Republic will amount up to 20 percent, LPR Education and Science Minister Ivan Kusov said at a press briefing at the House of Government.

 

“The base rate, compensations and incentives will increase by 16 percent on the average,” Kusov said adding that the overall pay rise was expected at 20 percent.

 

Under presidential order, all homeroom teachers are entitled to a monthly 5,000-ruble bonus which is paid in the LPR, too, he said.

 

The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
