LPR prosecutors file 1,254 criminal cases against Ukrainian military in 2022

Lugansk People’s Republic prosecutors have filed 1,254 criminal cases since the beginning of this year over the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare by Kiev forces, prosecutor of the public relations department of the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office Yelena Gusak said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
 
“The PGO department for crimes involving the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, and the unit for supervision over compliance with law in the military sphere have filed 29 criminal cases (over the past week) over the facts of use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, genocide, and other crimes by servicemen of Ukrainian armed formations,” Gusak said. “This year, investigators of the above department have filed 1,254 criminal cases.”
 
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The Donbass peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014.
