LPR Parliament to continue working until reshuffle - Pasechnik

LUGANSK, November 21 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR head Leonid Pasechnik has instructed Parliament to work until the reshuffle.

"In connection with the LPR Council of Ministers resignation in accordance with the Art. 79 of the LPR Constitution, Art. 20 P.2 of the LPR law dated June 25, 2014 No. 24-I On the Executive Bodies System I am ordering the Council of Ministers to continue working until the establishment of the new Government."

The LPR held elections of the Head and Parliament on November 11. Leonid Pasechnik performed well across the Republic and won the race by a sweeping majority, gaining 68.3 percent of ballots cast. The Mir Luganschine social movement secured 37 seats in the Parliament, while its rival Lugansk Economic Union won 13 mandates.

Leonid Pasechik was inaugurated on November 21 as the Head of the LPR.
