LPR ministries to take part in Russian national projects

Several ministries of the Lugansk People’s Republic will participate in Russian national projects, the LPR government press service reported.
LPR government deputy chairperson Yelena Kostenko met with the Republic’s executive officials over possible participation in national projects and follow-up road maps, the press service said.
The LPR Food and Agriculture Ministry, together with local administrations, will join the national projects “Small and Medium Business and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative” and “International cooperation and Exports,” as well as the federal program “Complex Development of Rural Territories.”
 The Republic’s Construction Ministry will take part in the “Housing and Urban Environment” project. Local administrations will compete in the all-Russia national contest of projects to create comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements.
The Ministry of National Resources and Environmental Safety will join the “Ecology” project and the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry will take part in the “Safe High-Quality Roads” project.
Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Cabinet officials on January 11 paid special attention to the involvement of the new regions in the implementation of national projects.
Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik said that all LPR areas had to participate in Russian national projects.*i*v
